Seeking Instructor

There is an interest in the Eel River Valley both with local educators and businesses to have a basic course in Spanish, applicable to their clientele.  I am looking for an instructor who could develop and implement a program here in Fortuna.  There are  funds available.  We have the idea and interest and we now need someone to implement.

Please forward this to those who would be a good fit for this need.  Don’t hesitate to contact me with any further questions.

Thank you

United We Dream

The first buses have arrived! Last night over 150 of our Texan immigrant youth arrived in DC to demand a Dream Act right now. We are giving up time with our loved ones during the holidays because we cannot wait -- our lives are on the line!

We need you to take action now: make a call to 478-488-8059 and demand protection for immigrant youth who are at risk of deportation!

Congress members plan to go home for the holidays this Friday. If they fail to pass the Dream Act by this Friday, more than 15,000 young immigrants will be exposed to deportation by January. That's why it's so important that you take action NOW:

Call 478-488-8059 and tell Congress: Any vote for end of the year spending bill without the Dream Act is a vote to deport immigrant youth. Delay means deportation!

Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell think they can wait until March to solve the crisis they and Trump created — but the reality is that we are losing our livelihood right now, at this very moment. A majority of the American public wants a permanent solution for immigrant youth. Together we must hold any politician or party accountable that stands in the way.

We can do this,

Paola and the rest of the team at United We Dream

P.S. These next few days are critical. We need all the help we can get to fund this fight. Go here to make a contribution to United We Dream.
