History of LatinoNet

The Latino Community Providers’ Network (LatinoNet) was created in 2000 as a community resource addressing the unique experiences of our Latino community.  LatinoNet’s mission is to improve the quality of life for Spanish-speaking families of the North Coast through networking, information, collaboration and advocacy.  LatinoNet has worked collaboratively with community partners to bring together resources that are responsive to the cultural and linguistic needs of Latino families.  The network acts as an advocate for Latino families by providing accurate and culturally appropriate expertise to members.  LatinoNet provides a forum for providers and community members to collaborate and support each other as they advocate for appropriate service provision to Latino families in Humboldt County.
